    Maintenance Electrician

    Based in Widnes

    12 Hour shifts   Permanent Full-time

    We are looking to appoint a Maintenance Electrician supporting both SecAnim and Refood, Widnes sites and the Company invite applications from suitably qualified candidates wish to apply.

    Primary Purpose of the Role:

    To carry out site Electrical/Mechanical maintenance, installation, and upgrade work around SecAnim and ReFood sites whilst providing production support within the shift team on days.

    To carry out the role whilst ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Ensuring that high levels of productivity, attendance and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Carrying out day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
    • Working under Health & Safety guidelines.
    • Carrying out routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments.
    • Carrying out electrical/mechanical maintenance on PPM system.
    • Diagnosing and resolving electrical/mechanical issues.
    • Provide production support within the shift team and provide shift cover when required.
    • Completing department daily work record sheets.
    • Assisting other mechanical / operational departments when required.

    The Person

    You will have served a recognised formal apprenticeship and ideally have experience of electrical maintenance in a process manufacturing environment
